Each player gets timed for each exercise. They all get a practice turn, then timed. If a player makes a mistake, they can retake the test as the best score is what we are looking to record.

Servers at each side play a pass in to the feet of the player in the centre. The player on receiving the ball raises their heel to go one way and then quickly turns in the opposite direction. This to fool the defender that would be behind the attacker (traffic cone) to go one way, creating space the other side for the attacker to penetrate forward with the ball.
Progression: Double heel raise.

The drill is progressed to a match situation with the attacker having their back to goal. The server (midfielder) plays a pass into the attacker's feet. The attacker then performs the heel raise against the passive defender (only applies pressure). On successfully passing the defender the attacker is encouraged to get an early shot in at goal.
Progression: Make the defender active and allowed to tackle. If the defender wins the ball they try to play it back to the server, which then allows them to become the attacker.

The 30x40 pitch has two end zones marked off for an attacker and defender to be placed in that zone. The centre zone is then a 4v4 with both teams trying t play it up to the striker to beat the defender and score. Strikers rotate every couple of minutes or on the coach's signal.
Progression: 3v3 + 2v1 in end zone.

On a 10x15 pitch players play a 3v3 game. This is to encourage individual techniques and passing & movement in this fast paced small-sided game.

Home assignment (1) 'Fancy toe taps'. Players place the right foot on top of the ball then place it just to the side of the ball. Left on top of the ball then place beside the ball next to right foot and then the right toes tap the ball. The pattern is then repeated the opposite side starting with the left foot.
