Dynamic Warm Up (15 mins)

Description

Self guided FIFA 11 Warm Up. Players are given a lot of ownership of this preparation

Players are to warm up and build up gradually.

Technical

Players are to compelte basic pro football support/FIFA SnC exercise. Squats, lunges, Nordics (hamstring curls) & Propriorecption activitiation

Constant Ball striking practice (10 mins)

Description

Player A Passes into B who drops a pass on an angle back intoA who then stikes a cross field apss to C who is moving forward. Everything done on angles, limiting straight passes.

Player C dribbles over to the other side of the

Depending on numbers we can have two squares running or increase the stations to add a one two in for an overlap

Player A Rotates in to be Player B and B moves out to C

Crossing & Finishing Game (20 mins)

Description

Keepers start the activity by playing out to one of the red attackers. 4v3 in both zones to over load the attackers. Reds combine to work the ball into the attacking half. As the ball gets into the other half one player can join the attack to make it a5v3. If the reds score play changes direction and one red drops back into the other half. If Blues win the ball they try to keep it and play across to the other half. If they do this they can swap, or change after a prolonged period of defending.

Finally one player in the attacking half of the field can go into the wide zoned area to deliver a cross

Constant/Variable Crossing Activity (20 mins)

Description

Ball starts with CB who plays into a full back, full back goes into the Winger, full back over laps and then delivers a cross to the two front players.

Change the side of the attack, and attacking group B attack the cross.

Players on the outside follow their pass. Attackers stay in the middle for numerous goes, before swapping.

As the activity progress challenge the players to decide what would be a logical progression, to make the activity harder?

Keepers can be used if available

Change the rotation for how the ball gets into the wide man. Can go straight from CB

Technical

Focus on the player crossing the ball delivering a ball that enables the attackers to be facing forward to score

Full back takes their cue off the wide player for when to overlap

Strikers make two movements one to loose the defender and one to get them into a postion they want to be in.

Decision making if the ball into the wide player does not allow an over lap what else would the wide player do? drive themselves?
