Warmup (30 mins)

Groups of 2-3: Will not be perfect but introduce how to curve inside & outside of foot, and chip in open space. Do 5 mins on each.

1) small inside of foot to get legs awake

2) little larger inside foot follow through

3) larger inside curve. Demo proper form

4) ouside curve. Demo proper form

5) chip ball. Demo proper form

Technical (30 mins)

Break into groups: Groups of 3. Do approx 7 mins per technique.

If 3: Have 1 player be in middle while the other 2 shape ball around/over player. Players get 2 touches and should alternate feet. Once a player passes they slightly go in and pressure as the passive defender. Work through all shapings.

Individual (25 mins)

Have a mini goal or 2 covering the goal. For more experience players have it further pull out to cut down the angle. KEEP TRACK OF POINTS: 1 point for slotting in net. 5 points for side netting or top shelf (use the lines in the net)

1) Do 10 mins each side. then switch to the other side. Ball always gets laid off inside.

2) Start on a center cone for chip to start then go to each side cone. all should be 2 touch. Go back to original cone. Do other cone too. 10 min cylces.

Individual 2 (25 mins)

Can use mini goal or GK.

1) Have players go back and forth thru cones on one side. Coach serves ball from opposite side of goal from edge of 6. If you pass short (near side of shooter body) must be placed with near foot near or far. Near is easiest but far is fine too. If you pass across their body (far side of their body) they must use far foot to shoot with power back across the goal (preferably low) OR they can add some outside spin for more advanced players. GO FOR 10 MINS. do other side. Then have them go through the cones backward shuffle from inside to out.

2) Blue guy:inside to out shuffle. If ball played into right foot then options to score: 1) bent ball to far post (easiest). 2) cut shot low to near post (medium) 3) chip (hardest) IF ball played short to left foot options are: 1) power low and far (easiest) 2) inside bend to near (medium) 3) outside curve to middle-far 3rds (hardest). GO FOR 5-7 MINS. Do other side

Game 1 & 2 (60 mins)

If you have a GK place them in.

GAME 1

1) Player runs around near cone, ball on opposite post is passed into their near foot for a slotted finish. Then player who passed automatically runs around his cone for the continuation. Points the same as last game. GO FOR 5 Minutes each cone.

Break add points. THEN GO to part 2 below

2) Now expand out to top of penalty area. NO POWER ON THIS ONE (youngers can take a prep touch)

GAME 2

Have 2 teams split into 2. Team a has a serving line on one post and a receiving/shooting line diagnolly about 20-25 yards away. Team b has the same just opposite team a. Once a player serves they go to their teams shooting line and vice versa. Player a serving line hits ball in air to conterpart who receives in air and then must shoot on 2nd touch and before line of the 18 (14 for youngers). Then team b goes. If a player takes more than 2 touches or crosses the line then that's a fault. if a team get 3 faults its a pk to the opposing team. Play to 10 goals then switch sides or play 10 minutes and switch sides.

Open Game (20 mins)

Do whatever you'd like for last hour some type of game to get players going. This is where you can put on your flair.
