Switching play/Striking Technique (10 mins)

Groups of 3. Grid ~30 yds apart.

Players work on recieving with back foot and playing driven or floated ball across to other partner, then check in to recieve and play back to other partner.

Prog: endline players move back and forth to force passer to pick head up and find moving teammate.

7v7 to 4 Windows (25 mins)

3v3+4. Players play 3v3 within grid to 4 "window" players (7v7 in whole). 1 pt for each time team takes it from one window to another uninterrupted. 3 pt bonus for connecting all four windows. Cannot play back to same window consectively.

Prog: add goals to each end to score.

2nd Prog: players replace when played to window

7v7+4 (30 mins)

7v7 w/ 4 wide players, 2 in each wide zone. Ball must be played into one wide zone to start in order to score. Wide players look for combination play (overlap, underlap, give and go, etc). Only one wide opposition player can defend.

Prog: once ball is played wide, one player can join inside grid to create overload.

2nd Prog: Players can interchange as wide players, as long as two playes occupy wide zones

3nd Prog: Opposite wide players can join in for cross if played to wide zone

11v11 w/ Wide zones (30 mins)

9v9-11v11. One wide player for each team, in each half (RB, LB, RM, LM). Ball must go to either wide player in each half. No defending in wide zones

Prog: Can now defend in wide zones

2nd Prog: Wide player can cut in and be replaced if space allows.
