Warm Up (10 mins)

Organization:

1. 30x30 field set up as shown

2. Separte players into two teams

3. One ball with additional if needed

Instructions:

1. Teams will attempt to maintain possession

2. Every 3 passes = 1 point

3. Teams will play for an allotted amount of time.

Coaching Points:

1. Quality of pass: weight, pace, accuracy.

2. Well timed runs

3. Making runs off the ball.

4. Good passes to feet

5. Good first touch towards space

6. Good decision making (make play easy)

7. Speed of play/decisions

Main Theme 1 (20 mins)

Organization:

1. 20x20 field set up as shown

2. Separate players into two teams

3. One ball with additional if needed

Instructions:

1. Teams will play 4v2 inside the field, two players for the defending team will stand on the outside of the field

2. The attacking team must maintain possession, every 3 passes = 1 pt

3. If the defending team wins the ball, they must play the ball to one of their defending teammates on the outside of the field.

4. If successfull the teammate enter the field and try to maintain possession.

5. Players will continue to play and rotate as attackers and defenders for an allotted amout of time.

Coaching Points:

1. Quality of pass: weight, pace, accuracy.

2. Well timed runs

3. Making runs off the ball.

4. Good passes to feet

5. Good first touch towards space

6. Good decision making (make play easy)

Main Theme 2 (20 mins)

Organization:

1. 20x20 field set up as shown

2. Separate players into two teams

3. One ball with additional if needed

Instructions:

Conditioned Game (20 mins)

Organization:

1. 30x30 field set up as shown

2. Separte players into two teams

3. One ball with additional if needed

Instructions:

1. Teams can score in any goal

2. If goal is scored, team gets the ball back and continues to play

3. Teams cannot score on the same goal twice in a row,

4. Teams will play for an allotted amount of time.
