Possession Game

Challenge

Attacking team try to keep possession. Points are scored by completing 5 continuous passes or combining with team mates.

Technical

1. Receiving skills, first touch into space

2. Pace and accuracy or pass

3. Bigger touches out of feet if attacking space

4. Move at speed

5. Practice one-two's, takes, no touch turn, round the corner and using inside/outside of both feet

Tactical

1. Identify space to attack (can you do this before you receive the ball)

2. Using other players to help you beat an opponent (combination)

1. Adjusting your body to receive the ball with different surfaces of your body

2. Change body direction to avoid being tackled or to attack space
