SAQ (10 mins)

Juggling Challenge - weak foot only

Organization:

As above

Instructions:

Dynamic warm up followed by reaction races

Bouncing on toes facing different directions/ on knees / legs

crossed / on belly / jump and high ten

First one to touch coaches hand wins

Coaching Points:

- Be on toes

- Listen for coaches signal

- Reaction time

- Speed of movement

RTT- Unopposed (10 mins)

Organization:

1. 10x20 yard area.

2. Four players per area.

3. Rotation: A to B. B to C. C to A.

Instructions:

Phase One:

1. Player B shows wide at an angle and receives a pass on the back foot from player A.

2. Player C shows down the line. B passes to C with the same foot.

3. Alternate which side center player receives on each turn.

Phase Two:

1. C now plays a 1v1 against A. (A provides passive pressure, C beats A with scissors)

2. B follows pass and replaces C.

Coaching Points:

1. A passes to B's back foot.

2. B takes half touch with the inside of back foot, guiding the ball down the line then passes to C with the same foot.

3. B must check wide at an angle with hips open.

4. C provides support as ball is traveling.
