Players will learn to strike the ball with their laces and top of the foot, as well as learning to "drive" the ball to each other.

Organisation:
Pitch set up as above in a 20x30 area.
Two halfs of 20x15.
A GK in each goal. A Defender in each half.
Players start behind each goal, split both sides.
Rules:
One player from the red team dribbles with a ball into the attacking half, while another player without a ball runs at the same time.
They play 2 vs 1 against the defender and try and score.
As soon as they have scored/missed they get off the pitch and the blue team attacks.

Progressions:
Only allowed 8 seconds maximum before having a shot in the opposition half.

Time:
Play for 4 minutes continuous. Swap defenders as and when. Then coach attacking teams. Then play for another 4 minutes continuous.
