Multidirectional Game (25 mins)

Instructions

Multidirectional game working on idea of switching the play.

Grid is split into four quarters, one blue and one white in each quarter, yellows are the neutral players and are the ones we are looking to get on the ball to do the switching.

Points

Team is possession to stretch wide to give space in central areas for the yellows to get on the ball and dictate play.

Communication from possession team to yellows to notify if it's safe to turn.

Challenges

Can the yellows move the ball diagonally across boxes?

Can we move the ball into all 4 boxes without losing it?

Can the two yellows link up?

Progressions

After a set amount of passes, players are allowed to score in a goal.

Make one yellow a neutral ball player, with the other shadowing as a defender to apply pressure for the ball player to try and get away from.

Remove constraints of one per box.
