Patterns of play in final third
A passes to B who sets A and plays wide to either C or D
C or D then cross ball aiming for runs of B or either C or D who didn't cross ball
Allow players to think of their own patterns of play to goal and experiment
Introduce live Defenders
Key Points
Movement of B to get on ball/Support movement of A to receive set (Curved Run not in straight line to close space)/Use of disguise of A to play in wide player/Attacking penalty area movement - B attacks front post opposite wide player attacks back post - A holds edge of area for possible pull backs/Timing of run not to arrive before ball

5v5 with GK's in either goal
Pitch is split in to thirds and team in possesion of ball must play off one touch when in attacking third
Players are allowed free movement around the pitch but ball must go in to final third in order to score
Key Points
Encourage players to play forwards/Support movements to play off (with) furthest player/Shape of front player to be able to play with one touch
Question? Ask players why they think it is important to be able to play with one touch in final third of pitch?

Visual Awareness - Attacking Third
3 teams of four players with 2 GK's in goal
Red team and Blue team are passing and moving in middle section of pitch awaiting for coach to hold up colour cone to dictate which goal to attack
When colour cone is held up player on ball must slide pass in to attacking third for team mate to finish against GK
Player making forward run can not arrive in attacking third before ball - Offside
Black team create traffic in middle section by dribbling with ball each. Teams swap after three attacks
Key Points
Checking shoulders to see coach, space and traffic/Finding pockets of space and support movements for team mates in congested middle area/Weight of through pass in to attacking third for attacker to meet
