Organization: 20 x 15 yard area with two 'mini' goals in each corner; Split group into two teams, (Attackers v Defenders); Each defender has a ball.
Instructions:
Defending player starts with ball and passes into the attacking player;
Attacking player moves out to receive the ball and attempts to beat the defender and dribble through one of two scoring gates on the defenders end line;
Coaching Points:
Head up;
Change of direction;
Close Control;
Acceleration.
Progressions:
Play Attack v Defense; Who can score the most goals in a minute, then swap, keep score.

Organization:
30/40 x 20 yard area with two 4 yard wide end zones is organized as shown in the diagram above.
Instructions:
Play regular scrimmage. Instead of having goals have two ‘end zones’ set up. Players score by dribbling into end zones. (Adjust size of area to number of players). Play is continuous for the designated period of time.

Close Control;
Encourage moves.

Add a neutral player to create numbers up and more success.

Ball Mastery - 9 lives (15 mins)
Organization:20x20 area. All players have a ball.
Instructions:
All players dribble around the area;
dribble and perform a move every 4 touches. They lose 2 lives if they dribble too slowly, lose control of their ball, knock into someone, go outside of the square, when you say freeze don’t have their foot on the ball. Gain 2 lives by being in most space when you say freeze, working the hardest, doing a move well at speed. Once all 9 lives are lost they must do a certain number of juggles outside the square to get back in. Finish with some light stretching.
Play for set time.

Progressions:
Play tail tag with balls, (Dribbling under pressure)
