Practice 1
Organization: Groups of 4/6 in each area, grid size 10x20.
Instructions: Player to dribble from gate past middle cone, turn back past cone and then turn again to the opposite gate from where they started.
Coaching Points: Messi touches, use of front foot to drag ball back, bend knees, use of back foot to take ball away, head up.
Progressions: Use of weak foot.

Practice 2
Organization: 2 goals, 2 lines of attackers.
Instructions: player from each team runs when called around the cone infront and comes back into the middle to play 1v1. Can score in any goal.
Coaching Points: go to goal if defender allows you, Positive, quick turn, back to defender, head up after turn, end product.
Progressions:2 players, time limit.
