Warm-up

Divide teams in 2 colors and then designate the yellows that they must find the ball as often as possible playing two touch.

Variation: play wall pass off the yellows

Variation 2: play 3 man combination off yellows

3v3+3

Divide into 2 teams. The 3 extra players should be your CAM's or DCM's (whites). To begin activity, players should just try to keep the ball for 10 consecutive passes. Each 10 is a point and play to 5 or 4 minutes which ever comes first. You should be trying to play the whites with every other pass.

Variation: Add a big goal and two small goals on opposite ends to give it direction. Play 2 touch and 1 touch only.

Coaching discussion: whites should always be in support of the ball, whites should always be looking to keep the ball, but have an eye to make the penetrating pass, combine with the other whites, use space to keep the ball, movement with and without ball by all players

Physical Training to Goal

All stations start at the same time. Station 1: Players jumps double touches between the hurdles and takes ball and shoots on goal. He stays to attack after shot and add defender. Station 2 plays into P1 and takes defender on 2v1 to goal. They stay to attack, add second defender. Station 3 plays into attacker and plays 3v2 to goal. They stay to attack, player 4 dribbles to endline and delivers a cross to attack. Start again.

5v5+2

Two teams, orange v blue with 2 jokers. Jokers (playmakers) play for both teams when attacking. Encourage playmakers to be around the ball and touch it as often as possible.
