warm up skills (15 mins)

players are facing eachother (in groups of 2), in between a 'magic' square

install as much drills as you can imagine in the square, and change quickly so they never get boring.

examples: 1. double backhand drag behind cones, 2. running/stop straight passing from within square; 3. sideways passing (where one player runs without ball)

other variations:

both players run with a ball, square = take over moment

all 4 players at one cone and just carrying (turn) around square

one player in the square for receiving techniques (open/closed) etc.

try to be as creative as possible with a minimum of setup and go quickly to the next variation

remind that everything can be done left/right side, forehand/backhand, slow/fast etc.

Goal: practising some basic stick handling skills (technique)

Exercise: start at cone, make slalom between cones with the instruction given

Rotation: fix group at drill (1/2/3/4), change after 3 minutes (with goalie > make sure there's enough time between shots at goal)

Goal: passing variation (circuit)

Exercise:

A pusht naar B, B pusht ball terug naar A. B loopt achter kegel in lengte. A flatst bal in diepte naar B, B sluit aan met dribbel naar andere kant. Aan deze kant wordt de drill herhaald.

Rotation:

Bal volgen

Variations:

met de klok mee en tegen de klok in ... (backhand/forehand aanname)

Extra information:

dynamisch/ pushen korte afstand/flatsen lange afstand oefening per 6,2 ballen (jongens 1x uitzetten, meisjes 2x uitzetten)

twee teams van drie spelers, ABC

op signaal trainer spelen ze de bal in een grote driehoek rond. Ballen starten bij A, het team dat z'n speler A het eerst aanspeelt in de eigen zone aan de kop cirkel mag besluiten op doel (signaal trainer)

bal volgen voor doorschuiven, na x keer kant wissel

bedenk evt sanctie voor team dat niet als eerste in cirkel is
