Passing drill (20 mins)

Description

This passing drill starts to focus on getting players in positions to play forward and looking at their transition. This will also add decision making under pressure. The game is four teams in the squares one team to defend. Defending team has one player roll the ball into three players, they keep the ball for three passes and then look to transfer the ball to another square. As this happens a different defender goes in to win the ball back. If the defending team win the ball back and can pass to their team mates then they are exempt for 2 goes at defending. Team that loses the ball become defenders TRANSITION

Technical

Players need to get into positons to receive the ball and be able to play forward quickly. The players aso need to move across squares quickly so there is always support for the group with the ball on the left and the right sides.
