Organization:
25x25 yard area
Instructions:
1. Players dribble in their own half.
2. On 'switch' all players must stop their ball and start with another ball dribbling (A).
3. On "1", players do toe-touches.
4. On "2", players do foundations.
5. On "3", players pick up the ball, toss it in the air and try to control the ball out of the air.
Coaching Points:
1. Positive 1st touch
2. Play with laces (Ronaldo touches) to get into space; play with pinky-toe (Messi touches) to keep close
3. Fewest number of touches
4. Run in a straight line
Progression
1. For "1", "2" and "3"; call out a simple math problem so they must think and be aware of what number they'll have to perform.

Organization:
Same organization as before.
Instructions:
Blue team - dribble using "Messi touches" the length of the field, looking to avoid everyone as they go from side to side. Count as many times as they can go from side to side.
White team - dribble using "Ronaldo touches" the width of the field, looking to avoid everyone as they go from end to end. Count as many times as they can go end to end.
Coaching Points:
- Head up
- Look for space
- Accelerate into the space
- Avoid other players
- Be creative and clever with movement
- Decision making: Patient - wait for space to open up; Aggressive - attack space immediately

30x30 yard area (Divided into thirds)
3 lines of players
Manaquin (or other object) to indicate defender
Instructions:
- Players dribble at the defender and execute move to get around (Roll-push, Stepover, etc.)
Coaching Points:
- Head up to observe defender
- Timing of/required to do the move
- Execution ("selling") the move
- Sealing off defender after the move
- Head up to survey for next action
- Accelerating into space/to goal after the move

- Add a goal at the endline to finish

Two teams of 6
Instructions:
First team attacks goal(s); after goal or ball out of bounds, attacker becomes the next defender against other team as the next person in line starts the next attack.
Coaching Points:
- Head up to locate defender, space and goal.
- Can you attack at speed?
- Do you have to beat the player, or can you create enough space to get the shot off?
- Quick transition to defense after turn as attacker is finished.

Field split into thirds
Two teams of 6
Instructions:
- Play starts when attacking team dribbles out from the endline.
- Each third is a 1v1 match, but the attacking team can pass to other attackers in other thirds.
- All players must stay within their own third.
Coaching Points:
- Head up to observe goal, defender and space.
- Recognition of when to attack space and when to pass.
- Movement off the ball by attackers to create space and not stand right on the lines.
- Discipline from attackers to not run to the ball and keep proper spacing.
Progressions:
- Remove lines.

Juggling Warm-Up (15 mins)
Organization:
30x40 yard grid, each Player with a ball.
Instructions:
Players work in pairs. Set number of touches allowed. Player to misplay the ball, a point is given to the other player. Play for a fixed time, winners move up to play a new player.
Coaching Points:
- Players try to improve their touches (suppleness, control and foot-eye coordination) by juggling with different surfaces of their feet & body.
