Technical Warm Up: (15 mins)

Set up triangle suitable to players and ability in groups of 4.

Players pass and follow around the triangle in number order in a competitive environment.

Progress to adding a bounce pass (2 passes to 3, who passes back to 2 to play a bounce pass)

finish with a set pass, 1 passes to 2, who passes to 1 who plays to 3 and 2 follows.

Set up area suitable to players and ability with 3 gates either end.

two teams playing towards target player, score a point by playing to player behind the line. once a point is scored that player passes to the other team for them to attack.

Progress:

once passed to target, target must play back to team to dribble through a gate, can be played back to any player.

bonus point if they can pass through a gate to target following set pass.

Phase of play: (25 mins)

Set up area width of 18th to half way with 2 target goals.

attacking team play 6,8,9,10 in middle with 11 and 7 outside.

defending team play 4,5,6,8,10,9.

defending 9 serves ball to attacking team who look to combine with forwards and score. extra goals for combining with forwards.

if defending team win ball they score in side goal, if they link up with forward while scoring they get 3 points.
