Warm up 1 (15 mins)

40 x 40 set up 3 scoring areas two teams even with two Magic Players

Both teams look for possession and maintain with scoring into the magic players areas.

When goal scored Magic player plays to scoring team to maintain possesion and go again

First team to 10

To add Alertness play in silence to encorage scanning.

Weight of pass and body shape key coaching points with scanning.Feel of a good pass whilst tracking it to the other player with eyes.

Movement after played pass (create space for them or others)

Play man to man making

Etra goals for players who score by Magic player running into tareget area when receiving ball.

Warm up 2 (15 mins)

Scanning before recieving ball.(Were is Defender,Striker or Support Play).

Scan when have the ball to make desicion (Shoot,Run,Hold ball up or Pass).

Scan after were going to recieve the ball from or as in game.

Add movement from outside players to make inside player scann more.

Central Scanning (15 mins)

Player 1 passes to outside players.

Then scans and listens to where player 2 has passed their ball.Then goes and receives the ball from player 2 receiver and makes another pass to the outside plyer and so forth.

Player 2 does the same as player 1

Outside players receive the ball correcty and call Player 1 or 2 to receive the ball back.

Continue for 3 minutes and then change centre players

Scanning - Three points before, during and after.

Weight of pass

Be ready with correct body shape

Reconise Triggers

Progression

Look for 1- 2

Outside players hold ball up by passing betwen themselves if central players lose patten so they can reset without coach intervention

Outside player could run with the ball to another square and swap over again to hold play up until central player reset themselves witpatten of play.

Long or Short Passing Game (15 mins)

Three teams of 5 with two end zones

Blues and Whites work together to get the ball from one end zone to the other. Blacks to try to regain possession.

Once Blacks regained possession swap with team that lost Possession.
