4 is his movement onto the pass

5 is an overlapping run

Progressions

9 v 9 game with channels

How to Play

Normal game.

Channels marked with flat markers.

Players can break into wide areas to receive and cross (limit touches to prevent runs from deep unopposed)

Progressions

Allow 1 defender into channel.

An alternative way to do the practice is to have 2 "all time" wide players in the channels - conventional going one way - inverted winger going the other way.
