Organization: Set up mutile grids aobut 5 x 5 for each player. Each player will need a ball.
Instructions: Player will toss the ball (8-10 feet high). they will then try and settle it at their feat with the laces of their shoe. Have players switch feet every 10 tosses so the can work on both feet. To increas the difficulty place a trinagle of cones around the player and see if the can toss it into the air and settel it inside the triangle.
Coaching Points: For beginner players have the practice without the ball using the technique below.
1. Have players curl and point thier toe up. Locking the andle.
2. Bring the toe up to meet the ball.
3. As the ball hits the part of your laces by your toe, brin you foot down to cushion it.

Players toss volley throws to each other. Receiving player works on the following
-R/L Foot Return Volley
-Settling Ball off Chest to Ground

Setup:
In pairs (G00 with G03)
Activity:
Go through technique of receiving out of air:
+ Laces (straight ahead)
+ Inside of foot
+ Thigh
+ Chest
+ Head
Compete:
iSoccer Aerial receiving competition:
8 throws. Player must receive with body part and volley back to thrower, who is 3 big steps away. Point for each successful time ball is returned to thrower. No point if thrower has to move feet to catch ball.
+ R Foot, L Foot, R thigh, L thigh, Chest, Chest, Head, Head
+ If player get 6 points or more, back up 3 more steps and repeat

Organization: set up a small field with a goal (10 x 20) and and a goal keeper. You will need 3 balls and 1 goal keeper and 2 field players. Set up Multiple fields so it is a 1 to 2 ratio.
Instructions: Teach playing out of the back and out of the air by having the keeper kick and throw the ball to the field players. Taking turns playing the long ball and then playing out of the back.
Work both sides of the field to get them used to seeing the ball from a different point of view. Have the field players switch spots after every 3 balls.
Coaching Points: Controlling the ball with the first toch. Have movement to get open. Communciate with the Keeper (Call for the ball). Teach them to go to the ball and not wait on it.

The offensive players try and score in either of the two small goals at mid field.
If the defensive player wins the ball they try and shoot on the keeper.
You can have the players keep score and if the defensive player scores it is worth 3 points and the offensive goals are worth 1.

Dribbling Warm-Up (10 mins)
Organization:
-Every Player with ball in 20x30 grid
Instructions:
STEP I:
-Players dribble using Messi touches and Ronaldo touches, choosing the correct time for each, ie close spaces using messi touches, open space using ronaldo touches.
-After a few minutes, a challenge is introduced. Players now race to 50+ touches using Messi, Ronaldo, or a combination of the two.
STEP II.
-Players dribble throughout area using any part of foot and wait for different commands
1) Change - Players leave their ball and find a new one to dribble with
2) Out - Players dribble as quickly as they can to the edge of the field
3) In - Players dribble as quickly as they can around the coach, keeping close control of the ball
Coaching Points:
-Head up to see available space
-Keep the ball close when in crowded areas (can you take a touch every step you take)
-If a player sees a good area of space, then they can take bigger touch/accelerate into it
-Use correct dribbling technique (pinky toe touches, knee over ball)
Progressions:
-If players lose the ball outside of the area, or hit another player/ball they lose 10 points in the race to 50.
