Screen 1 (10 mins)

Session Objective: Warm-up with emphasis on moving ball quickly out of feet. B

Organisation:

Ball played by 1 and receiving player 2 moves ball quickly into space, takes another touch and then turns to play back to player 1.

Key Factors:

Know where space is to move ball

Check shoulder

First touch quickly out of feet

Head up and awareness to see where other player is

Screen 2 (20 mins)

Session Objective:To improve quick play to shoot

Organisation:

4 v 4 in centre square;rest of players outside.Outside players pass ball around and once three passes occur,they can pick their moment to pass again around or play to one of four players in centre square.Yellow players defend.

Receiving player has one touch to move out of feet and then to shoot at any goal.However...can not shoot at the goal facing him on theside he receives ball.(Emphasis on encouraging quick movement out of sheet,and shoot as shown by 1).

Quick play game (25 mins)

Session Objective: Develop quick play in final third

Organisation:Teams as shown.Ball fed by server into any player central area.players have to combine to score.goal can only be scored by player on second touch,thereby encouraging first touch to create space and then sharp finish.As soon as ball enters net or goes out,server serves to other team .

Key Factors:

Looking to receive in centre following transition.

Awareness.

Quality of pass.

Quick movement out of feet to create space

Quality of finish
