What If - Far Opposition CM presses onto Deep CM

1. Deep CM to identify when ball is traveling to FB, position of Opposition CM, If Far CM Presses in and we can not play directly into ball side High CM, Trigger for him to clear space by running forward as identified, aiming to move CM marking him.

2. Movement from Deep CM forward is a trigger for two High CMs to rotate as highlighted above.

(A) If Opposition (Red) CM follows Deep CM, Far High CM as highlighted takes his role and he performs actions as in Function/Phase with the (1-2) Triangle midfield re-established.

(B) If Opposition Red, does not follow Deep CM but 2nd opponent's CM does follow movement, opportunity for FB to role ball into space created for the Deep CM to step forward.

What If - Far Opposition CM presses Deep CM when in Possession and is unable to turn

1. As Deep CM receives and is unable to turn, Ball to be set back to FB and his movement will take him away from opposing CM deeper, closer towards our Back Line.

2. As Deep CM moves away from Possession, Trigger for Far High CM to drop Inside and recieve a split pass from FB (Similar distance/angle, as Deep CM playing through into CFs feet) If Opposing CM remains and Red CFs do not drop onto Deep CM, ball can be played into player who has created an angle for himself to play forward.

What If - All 3 CMs are Pressed (with Far Opponent (Red) wide-player narrowing Inside

1. Deep CM under pressure and unable to play forward, ball to be played back into FB and this time his movement will take him away from Possession, looking to rotate with the Far High CM as highlighted.

High CM to move quickly as soon as Deep CM moves away, looking to get the ball in the deep position.

- If both Opposition Midfielders track runs or stay zonal, FB to look to play wide-players feet or into the CF.

Deep CM receives outside Central Zone

What If - Deep CM recieves outside Central Zone (Throw-In Etc.)

1. Deep CM to check shoulder/space when ball is being prepared, if space is unavailable, ball to be set back to FB and movement forward to clear space centrally.

2. Starting Position to be closer inside, with diamond on an angle (Point facing away from Thrower) Trigger for Midfielder is when Deep CM runs out and clears space, role as highlighted above to rotate around and look to recieve to play forward.

3. Final High CM, to rotate as highlighted above once he see's Deep CMs movement forward, aiming to provide passing option if (NO.2 CM) receives.

CB Stepping In

What If - CF drops into Deep CM and FB is unable to play forward

- May also occur if GK look's to play out from the Back

1. FB unable to play forward due to positioning of the opposition, so misses out nearest CB to allow furthest CB to Step-In

2. CB to identify space when ball is traveling and ensure body position is correct to step into Central and Middle 3rd.

3. Key Trigger: As soon as CB recieves and is able to move forward, Key all Midfield 5 open up the space and pitch as quickly as possible, with wingers pushing high onto Opposition FBs and midfield 3 stretching to the edges of the Central zone to allow the CB to step in and create our Box shape once again.

Options: CB to look to get High Midfielders recieving on the half-turn, alternatively ball into CFs Safe side to create a 3v2 against Red CBx2.
