Keepy Up (15 mins)

Keepy Up

Split players into smaller groups depending on size of main group. Teams must keep the ball in the air by catching at the high point and releasing back into the air before their feet hit the ground.

Primarily hand-eye coordination exercise. Still emphasise catching at highest point and leading with one knee.

Progress to see which group can keep the ball up for the longest.

GK Football (15 mins)

Goalie Football

Players can only run 5 steps with the ball in their hands, passes must be overhand. A goal is scored by catching the ball in the opposition end zone.

- Receptions will be more successful if caught at highest point (less likely to be intercepted)

- Use both hands to secure receptions and when moving with the ball

- Cradle ball securely on overhand pass
