Speed Agility- Loosing your marker

20x30 area.. start start to the middle is 10 yrs and the sprint to the side is 15 yrds. Two teams going through or over hurdles then meeting in the middle. oneteam are the defenders and the other team are attackers. Whenthe two meet in the middle the attacker will try and get to one end by loseing him with a change of direction or early decision.

Progression

1.double jumps over the hurdles

2.lateral movement across the hurdles, facing both ways

3.side steps inbetween the hurdles

Key Coaching Points

Feet and knee shoulder width apart

Lead with knees and toes

Over- exaggerate use of upper body

Make early decisions.
