Part I: Rondo (5 mins)

Organisation

- 8x8 Squares set up as shown (x4)

- 5 Yard gap betweeneach square

- 14 Players (5 Attackers & 2 Defenders per group)

- 1 Ball (additional in central zone)

Activity

- Attacking players aim to make 15 consecutive passes to keep Defenders in the middle

- Attacking players one touch max. Any touch from Defender & misplaced pass ends the sequence

- Attacker who gives away possession becomes new Defender (two turns in middle)

Rules

- 15 consecutive passes & Defenders repeat

- Handball from Defenders mean they repeat & Attackers start on 5 passes

- Blocking of 1st pass by Defenders means they repeat & Attackers start on 5 passes

Progression

- Introduce touch sequence: 1-touch/2-touch/1-touch & 2-touch/2-touch/1-touch

- Introduce 2nd ball that must be passed via hands by attackers. 2sec max in hands. If you drop ball or recieve ball to feet while have ball hand your new Defender
