Warm up (20 mins)

One player dribblingwith a ball, while their partner is doing lunges in the same space. Can you pass ball through legs and collect at the other side. Swap over.

Kick up and across to oppositte hand as they are wal,king round the area (RtoL & L to R) Other player dribbles round the obstacles. Then swap over.

Full body sttetch to the ceiling as other players dribble round changing direction. Swap over.

Main Activity (20 mins)

1v1 games in a channel - must dribble over the line to score with te ball under control.

Concentrating on the defenders movement and positioning.

2v2 games to a goal.

Conentrating on defending.

Coaching points - communication with each other, 1st defender goes to ball, 2nd def covers.

Coaching points - side on, balanced position, on toes, knees bent, eyes on the ball, don't dive in.

Game related (20 mins)

Numbers game with GK's. Each team is put into a corner and given a number, when your number is called out you come and play against someone in the oppositte team with the same number.

Concentrating on defending, closing down but not diving in, jockeying until tmime is right to tackle for the ball.

Conditioned game (20 mins)

7v7 game with GK's. 2-3-1 fprmation.

Looking at defending when you lose the ball. If your direct opponent scores a goal or gets an assist then you must do 10 knees to chest.
