2V1 with 'goals' (65 mins)

ORGANISATION :

Organise area at approx 20x30yds with two goals at each end with a 'scoring zone' at one end and with three 'gates' 'A-B-C with three plrs at each, the coach will act as server and control the practice by serving the ball into front plr in 'gate' B who with his/her first touch enters the area and advances towards 'scoring zone' one plr in 'gate' C also enters area on plr in gate' B's first touch and one plr in 'gate' A also enters area this will create a 2v1 situation with the objection for the blues to enter 'scoring zone' and score in goal if the red plr (defender) gains possession s/he can try and score in oposite goal - rotate plrs so as to allow all plrs at defending and attacking.

CONDITIONS :

Must have x-amount of passes before entering 'scoring zone'.

Point/goal gained on entering 'scoring zone'.

One type of pass only.

BREAKING THE LINE : Organise area of approx 40x30yds with sections marked out i.e A'B'C & D in area A place two plrs (blues) to act as servers and in area B place two blues and one red (this is you're 2v1 senario) and in area C place one red plr who will act as the right back and finally in area D one blue who is you're centre forward,coach to rotate players so all have opportunity of different aspects.

OBJECTIVES : Plrs at A will serve ball into blue plr in area B who must combine to beat the red "wide" plr and "break the line" between opposition "wide" plr and red right back (from area B to C) where a 1v1 will occur and the blue plr is instructed to cross/pass from area C to striker in area D who has two touches to score or from header crossed in.

CONDITIONED SSG (65 mins)

CONDITIONED SSG : Blues will play in a 4-3-1 formation and the reds will play a G/K-3-3-1 formation the blues will attack conventional goal and reds will have five passes and then must have effprt on either of two mini goals placed on half way line, coaching the blues the coach will look for the blues to create various 2v1 situations all around pitch whilst maintaining formation and always looking for opportunities to "break lines" whilst advancing forward.

CONDITIONS :

Reds have five passes only to have attempt on goal'

Practice always starts with coach serving into blue defenders'

Blues must create x-amount of 2v1 situations before attempt at goal.
