Stretch and Speed (5 mins)

Equipment:

Cones and all players for a warm-up - NO BALLS

Set first cone 5 yards off line and every other cone 1 yard apart. May adjust to fit are group or skill.

Organization:

Players jog out to first cone and preform stretch or skill called out by coach. Ensure stretch is done properly and for the correct time frame needed.

1. Toe Grab and pull

2. Open gates

3. Close gates

4. Jumping headers

5. 50% straight jog

6. 75% straight run

7. 100% straight sprint

8. Cones 1 foot apart - steps will always be one foot then the other to match beside it. Start with a steps forward beside a cone. individually step each one over the cone then individually forward which puts you beside the next cone and continue to the end.

Drible and Moves (15 mins)

Equipment:

Enough space to fit all players in (center circle, 18 or make your own)

All players with a ball.

Organization:

Players must dribble around the area - keeping heads up and advoiding collisions. Goal is to keep the ball close and slight jog.

+Direct them to only use specific parts of their foot - inside, outside, top, bottom

+Add moves that they must follow on command

-Pull Back

-Step Over

-Cryuff

-Matthews

+Hold 4 or 5 different clored cones and make them call out color when you hold it up.

Triangle Trace Passing (15 mins)

Equipment:

Triangle per 4 to 6 players (would not recomend more) set up with each cone about 10 yards apart.

Have each player bring a ball and place in the middle for spares.

Organization:

Ball must start in the line with 2 players or most people in line. Pass ball counter clockwise (right foot) outside the triangle and follow your pass. Look to find intensity in the run and coach can even add to make the run a bend run.

+switch to clockwise (left foot)

+pass one direction and move the other direction (A has ball, passes to B, makes run to C) to add cognative training

1v1 - 2v2 - 2 goal (25 mins)

Equipment:

10 x 20-25 yard grids side by side with goals (flags, cones, puggs....) set at each end of both grids.

equal lines at each end of each grid will all balls on the same side of the grid.

Organization:

Player with the ball passes to opposite end. Player with the ball works to try and score on opposite end and if defender wins the ball they counter attack to the other goal (always working towards to goal your facing on the start).

+after several round move to 2v2 and eliminate the line seperating the two fields so teams can play to either goal.

+can add an additional line in the center to make it 3v3

Full Game per league or organization rules. have extra players be AR's. Play teams in different formations and switch up to give diffenert looks, strengths/weaknesses.
