ORGANIZATION

I. Flying Changes

- 2 teams

- 2v2

- Ball goes out at anytime on your defensive half, 2 two players enter the field - opposing team defends

II. Spacing and pressure

- 3 groups, rotate as needed

- Central channel defends

- Outside channels try to split central channel by moving the ball side to side - scoring a point by playing a ball through to the opposite side. Repeat..

- Body shape and positioning when pressuring the ball

Small Sided Activity

ORGANIZATION

5v5 + 4 Nuetrals

- 50x30 (or as needed)

- Ball start with coach

- Defending team denies penetrating passes to one of the 4 nuetral players

- Nuetral playes must switch the ball before it can re-enter the field

- Once ball is into the nuetral players, teams switch direction

COACHING POINTS

- Pressure the ball enought so the opponent cant prenetrate

- Speed and angle of approch of player applying pressure

- Marking vs. covering space

- Balance
