Warm Up (15 mins)

Warm Up: 45x55

2 groups of 8 passing and moving with two balls each group. Players should look to play quick and look to find passes that split two players from the other group. Combinations: Wall pass, up back through, overlap, takeover, ect. CP: Texture and weight of final pass.

Small Sided Game (25 mins)

6v6 to Endzones, Red 3-3 against Blue 4-2: 35x55

Teams score by dribbling into endzone or by recieving through ball. Player cannot stand in endzone. Reds need to stretch field vertically and horizontally. Players need to combine and move off the ball. Red need to make probing passes to commit defenders and create gaps. Create #'s up situations.

Expanded SS Game (50 mins)

10v11 Goal/Endzone 3/4 Field:

Reds are attacking from the middle third and looking to penetrate into the final third. Blues will look to score by recieving ball in endzone. Pushing outside backs forward to combine with 7&11 to create an overload and numbers up situations. Reds should also look to take advantage of the extra player in the center of midfield. Types of runs (curved, straight, angled, back shoulder runs). Reverse passes, texture weight of passes.
