PASSING 2 V 2 (20 mins)

Organization:

- set up as per diagram

- 3 grids, 5 x 15, devided in the middle.

- 10-12 players, play 2 v 2 in each grid

- pinnies, ball, spikes, ropes set at height of 1ft

Fast passing game, pass the ball in other field only under the rope.

Each player have 1 touch only, each team 2 touches.

Pass has to go to an oponent player and ball should never stop.

Play on points.

Coaching points:

- agility, movement

- good first touch, open body

- weight the pass, nice and ferm

- acuracy passing / receiving

Short / Short / Long (20 mins)

Organization:

- set up as per diagram

- 3 grids of 10 x 30

- 3-4 players / grid

- balls, cones, pinnies

Play start with outside player making a pas to Yellow player.

Yellow needs to play 1 touch short pass to partner, and partner makes a long pass to opposite outside, then go and receive from same.

Play always a short / short / long sequence.

Work for 3 minutes and then switch players

Coaching points:

- good first touch, open body position

- support, comunication

- ferm pass, weight, accuracy

- 10-12 players, cones, 2 balls

Play with 2 balls always. player, pass and follow his pass

Try one touch only, eventually take max 2.

Play a long / short / long sequence

Coaching points:

- always on toes, for quick reaction

- good one touch , if possible

- body position to receive

- accuracy / weight of pass
