Screen 1 (15 mins)

set up 16 white cones and 20 yellow cones as per diagram, 12 balls

Players dribble through white cones right to left foot inside of foot to stop the ball outside to drive through cones, then turn and pass the ball diagnal across to player at centre who then turns and dribbles through cones as well. players go to back line at centre and do 5 push ups before getting back in play, when centre players finishes dribbling through yellow cone he plays the ball to next player in white line and then does five push ups and gets back in line.

variation on movement after pass the ball....line drill 1 touch passing and move players must be alert and paying attention to where they need to go and get there quickly....

1 ...after the pass player side shuffle to cone and get back in the back of the line again.

2.. after the pass player side shuffle and then sprint to back of line in front of them.

3.. after the pass players sprint across to second diagonal cone and back to their line heads up lots of traffic.

Speed of play speed of mind (aprox 20 players 4 teams of 4 + 2 neutrals).....increase ability to play quickly....

4 gates teams try to keep possession and complete passes through gates ...most important thing is to keep possession, and see the opportunity to connect passes through gates complete 2 gates in same possession and score a point. Coaching points anticipate plays, movement off the ball, good supporting angles, try not to force a pass through gate if its not on keep possession and look for another option....

players do sprints when they get back in the line they do five push ups...1..each players goes through all three lines back and forth before next player goes....

2 pick up intensity relay whole group of three must go to each line one by one before they can progress to next line..
