Warm up (15 mins)

Organization:

12 player

6 players with a ball

Instructions:

The passing players inside the grid must find a player on the outside(who receives it with a positive touch to enter the grid) the player who passed the ball now becomes the outside player.

Coaching Points:

1. Players on the outside must not stand they need to be on their toes in order to receive the ball

2. eyes on the ball

3. toes pointed up, ankles locked

4. don't stop the ball (positive touch into space)

5. communication

Organization:

3 lines

1 goalkeeper

A are defenders

B and C are attackers

Instructions:

A passes to B, and becemes passive defender

B receives with a positive touch and drives at defender

C makes a overlapping run

B passes a through ball to C who then shoots to goal

Coaching Points:

1. receive the ball with a positive touch( drive at defener with speed)

2. Supportting run needs to be time (avoid offside)

3. through ball in front of running player (direction and weight of pass)
