Warm Up: (20 mins)

Ball Warm Up:

Players dribble ball around area performing skill moves to beat cones/defenders. Players perform own skill moves for all 3 directions.

Smash and Grab:

Defenders look to steal ball of players, once ball is stolen they look to support other players with pass. time limit or target for defenders to steal.

Skill Phase: (20 mins)

Skill Phase 1:

set up area suitable to players and age. each third has a defender, players work in pairs and look to combine through the thirds to goal. 1 point for every third they enter and 1 point for a goal.

defenders cannot leave area, if ball is won, attackers start again.

AT:3 R:1 I:5

Progress:

defenders can enter any third.

set up area suitable to players and age. players play small sided scrimmage and score by dribbling ball into end zone. play a number of games and team with most game points win.

Progress to target players, multidirectional or have players pass into end zone.
