Dynamic Warmup (10 mins)

Organization:

-Two Seperate Dynamic Warmups

Dynamic Warmup A

-Two lines

-Each line is made up of cones 4 steps apart each

Dynamic Warmup B

-Six cones set up 1/2 step apart each

Each exercise is performed twice

Instructions:

Dynamic Warm up A

-Jog x2

-High Knees x2

-Butt Kicks x2

-Two Step Shuffle x2

-Two Step Shuggle Backwards x2

-Open the Gate x2

-Close the Gate x2

Dynamic Warm up B

-Shuffle between cones x2

-Both feet in and over going forward x2

-Both feet in and over going sideways

Coaching Points:

-Proper body mechanics for each movement

semi-opposed- Receiving, Pressure from Back (30 mins)

Organization:

-2 to 3 frields each measure 15 yards by 20 yards

-4 or 5 players per group

Instructions:

- player A passes to player B

- Defender C is adding semi pressure(from behind) to player B

- Player B is looking to receive the ball on his/her front foot and roll

- accelerate towards one of the wide gates

OPTION 2

- Player will receive ball with the ouside of front foot and ball will go in one side and player toopther side, after beating defender,player and ball will meet again.

Technique:

- Body side ways

- Arm out to feel defender

- Knees bent

- Receiving foot (front) toes should be up, hit ball with the ouside to help the momentum of the ball spin easy.

- Explode after successfully defender is beaten.

Rotation: Players follow their pass.

Coaching Points:

- body position side on

- arm out to feel defender

-Outside of foot spin away from ball

- ability to turn defender with 1st touch

- if not, then what turn to execute

-Quality and direction of touch

Instructions:

-Now defender C is live and wants to win the ball

-B must turn and dribble through the gate

- If C wins the ball they are trying to score on the pugg goals

- Same two previus options

- ability to turn defender with 1st touch

- if not, then what turn to execute

-Quality and direction of touch

Conditioned Game (30 mins)

Organization:

- 3 Teams of 4v4

-Winner stay, looser out 3' game

- A is worth 2 points

-B is worth 1 point

Instructions:

- Defenders must stay in defensive half while attackers must stay in attacking half

- defenders must pass to attacker, cannot dribble up

- wide gates are worth 2 points

- central pugg goals worth 1 point

Coaching Points:

Decision of when to spin defender v. hold the ball up

Check to the ball

Arm out - feel for defender

Check shoulder - know where he is

Small Sided Game (30 mins)

Organization:

-3v3 or 4v4 tournament

Coaching Points:

-Checking out of area sideways

-Checking shoulder as ball has been passed to see defenders movement

-Proper part of foot to spin away

-Inside of foot spin with the ball,

-Outside of foot spin away from ball

-No defender on try to turn right away
