Warmup (30 mins)

Start with Ladders and touches. 5-10 minutes

THEN

ORGANIZATION: Open Space with all working at same time

ACTIVITY: Have the kids do moves. Look for 10 perfect moves as described. 5 on each foot (or starting with each foot). Have them visualize beating a player. Can be light walk in between, but then game speed for couple touches before and after move. Do in the following order: Scissors, stepovers, 2 footed pulling v, 1 footed pulling v, maradonna, cruyff, Pocket turn (back and behind leg), Matthews, Preki (Rollover into a stepover). PROGRESS to combos: 1) Matthews-scissors-maradonna combo (10 total, 5 starting on each foot) 2) Fake kick-pocket turn-stepover. 3) Fake kick-cryuff-2footed pulling V.

Multi 1v1, 2v2 (20 mins)

Oraginzation: Space is either 20x30 to 30x40. A pug in the middle of each end line.

Activity: Players match up with partner for 1v1. All games going at same time. To score player must do a move to beat their partner. (If they win the ball off of them defensively and already past the player then can just do a move an score). If a ball hits another group/player in front of goal then goal doesn't count. All players are considerred part of the field. This makes them get their heads up and look and shoot when opening comes. PLAY: 4 matches @ 90 secs for youngers-120 secs for olders. Switch partner after each match.

PROGRESS: 4 matches of 2v2, switch partner and each game. For this must combine (overlap, give-n-go, takeover) to score.

1v1 in game (20 mins)

Activity: Play game. If no big goals, then play to pugs on a 30x40. Idea is to win 1v1 battle in game. Thus, each player should be matched up with another from the other team. If player 1 score that player gets +1, his/her partner gets -1. This continues through the whole game. If a player finishes in the negative after they owe that much fitness. (-5 would be 5 sets of that fitness). Play game for time.
