Warm-Up (15 mins)

WARM - UP

-Soccer/Basketball

-Skipping (leave soccer/basketball, complete 30 skips and back in again)

-1 ball/2 players. Player 1 holds ball and player 2 does volley to reach the ball (laces/outside foot)

-Lunghes against a wall (players work individually)

-Lunghes x 4 and star jumps

Speed Training (15 mins)

SPEED WORK WITH BALL - STATIONS

1) Ladder work (left/right inside and then left/right outside on next rung)

2) Hurdles - break right or left after (different technique through hurdles ie 1 leg straight

3) Fast feet (inside/insides) and dribble forward with ball to next cone - emphasis on generating 1st step power from back leg

Agility Training (15 mins)

AGILITY WORK

1) llinois Agility Test - 10 x 5 m

2) 1 player/ball - dribbling and commands from coach ie sprint to cone 2/star jump and sprint to cone 3/jump up for header and sprint to cone 4 (have players sprint to cones whn off-balance)

Balance (15 mins)

BALANCE - ISOMETRIC TRAINING

-Player 1 serves to player 2, player 2 bounces on 1 leg andcontrols with 1 touch and plays back to player 1 (thigh/volley) or (inside/laces)

-Player 1 turns and still bounces on 1 leg) and returns 10 volleys from player 3
