Passing Warm Up (10 mins)

Pass & Move Warm Up (15 Min)

Juggling (5 min)

Set Up: Groups of 3 passing & moving with no pressure. Encourage 1,2 passing, overlaping runs, switching play, wall passes, etc. Require passing player to move after each pass.

Progression: 2 touches. Add defender for 3v1.

Coaching Points: busy feet when off the ball, open hips to target, offer angles of support

Stage 2 (15 mins)

Diagional Passing Diamond (12 min)

Ball starts on the corners. Both corners start at the same time. Two touch. Play to players nearest to 18 to start & follow your ball. Next player plays diagonal & follows. Next plays to corner player & follows. GK plays one with foot one with hands. 3 minutes. 40 x 20 area.

DURATION: 12 min

INTENSITY: Meduim

INTERVALS: 12-15

WORK:*REST 3:1

Variations:

3 minutes switch direction continue two touch

3 minutes switch direction move to one touch

3 minutes switch direct conture one touch

Coaching Points: Firm balls, control front foot play back foot, connect with front foot, ask for ball/make eye contact

Restrictions: 5 connected passes & one of the following (1-2 pass, short-short-long, wall pass, overlap, etc.) before shooting
