Description

Exercises that requires speed (Fast) and communication (Furious). The exercises help develop SAQ, movment on & off the ball as well as passing & receiving, control, 1st touch, 1v1 skills, dribbling and shooting. Ball mastery can be applied as an added progression.

Shooting 1 (10 mins)

Player with the ball moves to the side and plays the ball up to 2nd player who touches the ball to the side and spins off the mannequinns/cones ready to follow up the shot from the 1st player. The 1st player upon playing the pass performs the SAQ exercise at speed to get onto the ball and shoots 1st time at the goal. 1st player then becomes the 2nd player, with the previous player collecting the ball and dribbling to the back of the opposite line.

Shooting 2 (10 mins)

Player with the ball moves to the side and plays the ball up to 2nd player who touches the ball to the side and spins off the mannequinns/cones ready to receive the return pass from the 1st player. The 1st player upon playing the pass performs the SAQ exercise at speed to get onto the ball and plays the ball to the 2nd player who shoots at goal. 1st player then becomes the 2nd player, with the previous player collecting the ball and dribbling to the back of the opposite line.

Passing 1 (10 mins)

The 1st player upon playing the pass performs the SAQ exercise at speed to get onto the ball and plays the ball back to the goalkeeper, who passes out to the 2nd player. The 1st player then becomes the 2nd player, with the previous player collecting the ball and dribbling to the back of the opposite line.

Passing 2 (10 mins)

Player with the ball moves to the side and plays the ball up to 2nd player who touches the ball to the side and 'checks off' the mannequinns/cones ready to receive a pass from the goalkeeper. The 1st player upon playing the pass performs the SAQ exercise at speed to get onto the ball and plays the ball back to the goalkeeper, who passes out to the 2nd player. The 2nd player passed in to the 1st player who then plays the ball forward for the 2nd player to run onto and joins the back of the opposite line. The 1st player then becomes the 2nd player.

1v1 (10 mins)

Player with the ball moves to the side and plays the ball up to defender who stops the ball and runs around one of the mannequinns/cones and defends inside the box. The 1st player upon playing the pass performs the SAQ exercise at speed to get onto the ball and tries to beat the defender to shoot at goal. 1st player then becomes the new defender, with the previous defending collecting the ball and dribbling to the back of the opposite line.
