passing grid warm-up (15 mins)

warm-up

players in 3 or 4 groups- aiming for 3 to 4 players per group

1) players pass move into space

2) players pass overlap sprint around player

3) players pass with a 2-touch, 1-touch rhythm. movement after each pass

4) players all play 1-touch, movement after each pass

points-

movement-- overlap and find space; back up and open space up; lateral movement to show for the ball

first touch- not stationary-- find space and play the ball there to set up your next pass.

1) opposite ends of grid- 6x10. 2 touch back and forth. movement forward to receive, back up after passing.

2) opposite ends of grid. 6x10. player A serves ball to corner of grid. player b moves to receive, takes first touch forward and plays ball back. player a keeps serving and player b keeps working.

3) opposite ends of grid. 6x10. player A serves ball to corner of grid. player b moves to receive, takes first touch back to center and plays ball back. player a keeps serving and player b keeps working.

4) opposite ends of grid.6x10. player A serves ball to corner of grid. player b moves to receive, plays a 1 touch pass back and checks to player A. player A plays 1 touch to player B who plays back to player A. this continues.
