1 vs 1 continuous (20 mins)

1 vs 1 Continuous

White team attacks the blue player in the middle and tries to get the ball to the other side.

The defender cannot stop the attacker until the attacker gets into the middle square.

The ball must be carried to the other side or passed but must be accurate. If the offensive team is successful, they get to continue attacking the same defender, if they lose the 1 vs 1 battle, the attacker who lost becomes the defender and now the other team attacks.

Coaching Points:

#1. Attacker uses the space before the square to gain speed and attack with pace.

#2. Be creative and try some of the individual moves that have been worked on.

#3. Talk to the defenders about proper defensive position and forcing the attacker onto their waek foot.

#4. Talk to all of the players about transition offense and defense and how that relates to a game scenario.
