Standard warm up (Greig) :

This drill introduces fast one touch passing, wall passes and overlaps in a complete 1 touch passing drill.
Rotation
1) Player A plays a 1,2 with player B
2) Player A plays a long pass to player C
3) Player C plays a short diagonal to b who plays a long diagnal to D and starts his movement.
4) Player D plays into E as B overlaps D
5) Player E plays a square pass to overlaping B who plays a long pass to F
6) F plays in E who starts the drill again at A
Movement
1) Player A plays long ball to C and stays at original Position
2) Player C plays ball to B and moves to B position
3) Player B plays in D and overlaps D D moves to C
4) Player F moves to E once played ball to E
5)Player E plays ball to player A and moves into A in time for the return of the 1,2

using the one touch passing worked on in previous exercise in a game like scenario whilst keeping the ball under pressure.

This drill involves both 3v3+1 coming together to play a 6v6 +2 ( 5v5+2 based on numbers). This drill is played in a larger playing area combining short short short before finding a long pass out to the extra +2 in yellow. The +2 allow a 5v5 with 2 specific players concentrating on providing the width and depth to find the long pass.
This drill focuses on playing out of trouble in small spaces with little time on the ball exploiting the space you can make by providing width and depth in attack.

2) Player B touches the ball across their body turning the defender and has a shot on goal

1) This drill focuses on the key movements whilst attacking in the 4-2-3-1 formation we commonly play.
2) Player A (cdm) plays ball to Player B (CAM)
3) Player B plays ball back to A who hits it long to E (ST)
4) Player E plays the ball out to C (LM)
5) Player C plays ball into D who runs onto it and shoots on goal.

Playing a Narrow but wide park encouraging players to use the combination plays worked on previously as well as good wing play. By making the park narrow players will get a chance to put the small sided possession games into use in a match situation.
