Turning Activity

This is a turning activity

- 2 player working at the same time in the grid with 4 players on cones on the outside of the grid.

- When they receive the ball the player in the middle must turn and play to an open player on the ouside

- work on different types of turns (inside of foot, outside of foot)

- have player check shoulder to make sure there is an opening and to avoid turning into the mannequins or the other player.

2v2 + 2 Bumper Players

This game is 2v2+2 bumper players at the end of the grid on each end.

There are two goals on each side

The goal for the attacking team is to turn successfully and keep the ball to create a chance.

Because the goals are right in front of both teams, if the ball is lost on the turn then a counter-attack should lead to a goal.

Emphasize:

- knowing what the space around the players looks like by checking the shoulder

- using protected turns to create space and protect the ball
