Warm Up (25 mins)

Warm up for every session follows a similar format.

First 10 minutes players with a ball each (where possible). Dribbles, RWTB, tricks and turns.

This should be followed by (or interspersed with) 15 minutes of SAQ work.

Organisation

The boxes can be sized to suit your players needs.

Split the group into 2 (again numbers to suit the sessions).

Games are 3 minutes duration with 3 minutes recovery (take fluids on board and move to the other box).

Play a total of 4 of each game.

A good supply of footballs is needed at each box.

How to Play

Pressing - split the group into 3 teams. 2 teams combine to keep possession away from the other, if the "defending" team get a touch of the ball or the ball leaves the area, the team who gave the ball away immediately become the defending team.

Line Ball - teams try to keep the ball and score points by taking the ball, under control, over the end line.
