Cp's- get body and mind ready to compete. Proper weight and technique on passes, perform fast footwork at game speed. Communicate through body language and verbally, provide support parallel to the defender, keep back to the line, stay inside of the grid at all time, move the ball fast, split defenders whenever possible.

Playing out of the back. Start with 4 lines. Players must be able to play out of the back. Two touch limit

Progression: Add 2 defenders (representing opponents fwds), add players on both sides (yellow and blue)

Cp's- Play at speed, think a step ahead, play positive whenever possible, constant movement off the ball, provide support in length in width, body and verbal communication, decision making (when to play long, combine, switch), for every action there must be a reaction (ex. If possession is held with 3,11 and 9, 2(opposite side must attack the empty space in front of him)

Teams must connect 5 passes and GK has to play the ball with his feet in order to score. 2 touch limit (2min), 1touch limit (2min), unlimited (5min)

Aerobic Power fitness (15 mins)

2 grids of 20yds apart. 1 group jumps over the hurtles, the 2nd dribbles around the hurtles,

2 grids of cones 12" apart, 1 group performs side to side work, 2 group dribbles around the cones

all groups must sprint back, they switch to the right

4:1 work to active rest (active rest is ab work and push ups) %100 intensity
