Jog in firest section, Jump Hurdles in second section, sprint in third section, speed ladder in fourth section

Variation: Hurdles-two legged jumps, single legged jumps, sideways, forward back forward. Sprint- back peddle or suffle from center mark starting mark, then sprint to end. Speed Ladders: knee highs, 1-2's, forward shuffle, reverse shuffle

Coacing Points: Get knees up, pump arms, maxium effort

Receiving to Play Forward (15 mins)

Recieving to Play Foward (15 min)

Set Up: As seen in diagram (cones or poles can be used instead of mannaquins)

Play starts at A and B. Players pass in the arrowed direction and follow their pass. Players on the mannaquins start touch tight and check off the mannaquin to receive on the BACK foot. They then quickly pass in the arrowed direction, following their pass.

Try to have 3 balls moving at all times (start with 2)

Progression 1: Teach players to scan forward prior to receiving a pass.

Progression 2: At A and B players can play a double pass and wall pass with the receiver who then plays to the mannaquin. (not illustrated)

Progression 3: Players on mannquins choose to receive of the back foot/front foot, infront or behind the mannaquin.

Coaching Points:

1. Weight of pass.

2. Checking off the mannaquin.

3. Receive on the half turn on the back foot.

4. Scanning.

2 v 1's, 3 v 2's and 4 v 3's Attacking principles

Connect 3 passes before scoring through the small gates.

Cp's-Constant movement on/off the ball, provide angles of support (negative/positive off the ball), communicate, sharp technical execution of passing and receiving, expand the field in length and width

4 v 4 w/2 neutral players. Restrictions: 5 passes to 5 different players before team can shoot. 3 min or 2 goals, switch in group.

CP: Offer angles of support. Keep hips & sholders open to the ball to receive. Movement after your pass. Communication. Start play from GK. Focus on distribution.

6 v 6 No Restrictions (15 min)
