Organization:

Circle 25 yards in diameter

On Arrival:

Juggling: 1 bounce, 1 juggle, 1 bounce 2 juggles, 1 bounce, 3 juggles, etc.

Instructions:

Players do dynamic stretches and coordination movements

Main Theme - Unopposed (20 mins)

Organization:

15x25. 3 Groups running at same time

Instructions:

Option A (left)

Player A plays to B

B dribbles to end

B now makes same pass to C who then dribbles to end behind D

Option B (right)

Player A plays to Player B

Player B sets Player A who plays straight pass Player B who makes a diagonal run.

Player A moves to Player B, Player B now plays same combination with Player C.

Coaching Points:

- Quality of pass (weight and accuracy)

- Opening out and receiving on back foot

- Quality of set to next player (taking weight off the ball)

- Passing with correct foot to elimante possible defender

Player A passes to player B

Player B Checks to side and plays double pass in behind Player C with Player A

Player B turns and drives into space

Player C shuts the door and player B uses Move to beat Player C

Coaching Points:

- Quick check to an angle

- Open body and receive on backfoot

- Quality of set

- Movement of passer to make combination quick

- Quality of communication

- Weight and direction of through ball

- Timing of run to stay on side when going past defender

Main Theme-Opposed (20 mins)

Organization:

Same area as before now adding a small goal

Instructions:

Blue player are the defenders and will defend for 90 seconds. Players in white work round the repition circuit playing 2v1 against the defender. The passer is limited to two touches and cannot cross the halfway marker. Rotate defender every 90 seconds.

Coaching Points:

- Check to an angle - open body

- Communication - Voice, loud and early - Hands

- Awareness of the defender - Open up or drop back

- Decision - Double pass in behind (if defender follows the ball) or have ball back to feet.

- Be creative and confident when going at defender 1v1.

Condtioned Game (20 mins)

Organization:

2 games of 4v4 on 30x20 fields

Instructions:

Players split into 4 teams of 4 and play 3 mins or 2 goals.

Rotate teams

Coaching Points:

3 Lines of Attack

- Creating diamond (give angles of support)

- Making diamond a big as possible (Creates space)

- Identifying any numbers up situations
