Fartlek (20 mins)

Fartlek (20 min) Area 30 x 30

Jog in first section, Jump Hurdles in second section, sprint in third section, speed ladder in fourth section

Variation: 1. side steps out to centre cone and side steps back in. Hurdles-two legged jumps, single legged jumps, sideways, forward back forward. Sprint- back peddle or suffle from center mark starting mark, then sprint to end. Speed Ladders: knee highs, 1-2's, forward shuffle, reverse shuffle

Coacing Points: Get knees up, pump arms, maxium effort

Endurance & Ball control (20 mins)

Players stand between station A. Players must make 10 complete passes, each player touching the ball 10 times. Players then leave the ball and sprint around station B and back to A and then repeat the sequence for a time of 4mins.

Do variations of touches thighs/laces/instep/chest/headers

factors: keep up a good tempo with the ball and put everything into their sprints.

Waiting player on the outside will sprint from station 1 to station 2 and then walk from station 2 to 3 and back to 2 then sprint from 2 to 1. Repeat the sequence for a time of 4mins

Agility, Ball control & Endurance (20 mins)

Players A will do diferent foot agility through cones who then will receive pass from player B either on the ground or air, once player B receives the ball back, will place on the ground. Player A sprints to pole C and comes back to take player B place and the sequence repeats.

headers sitting down isolating lower body in order to use upper body only(demand no use of the arms to balance)

factors: keep tempo and everything is a sprint.
