POSITIONAL GAME
Red team 6,8,9 blue team 6,8,9 plus yellow neutral player
Blue starts with ball, they keep possession in combined zones B and C, with help of neutral player, after making 6 passes, blue 9 must play must play a long pass to red 9, red 6 and 8 can only recvieve the ball in zone A. Opposite 6 and 8 must try to react quickly into zone A, to try and stop the pass back from red 9 to red 6 and 8
If blue team react quick enough and win the ball, they restart possession in zone B and C
However if red 6 and 8, win the ball, they along with neutral player keep possession in zone A and B for 6 passes and red 9 then plays a long pass to blue 9, blue 6 and 8 can only recieve ball in zone C, and game continues
PROGRESSION
Two touch to increse intensity
Team Task: To react in BP > BPO 6 and 8 in transistion
Players Task: keep possession
Defend in formation and be aware of the opposition 6 and 8
React quickly to win the second ball from opposite to their 6 and 8
COACHES CUES: When the pass is played to opposite 9, that's the cue react and pick up opposite 6 and 8

GAME TRAINING
Red team - G.K,2,3,4,5,6,8,10
Blue team - 6,8,10,7,9,11
Blue team in an advanced attacking position, as shown
Play starts with coach (who will be positioned outside grid with the balls), coach plays to blue team, they try to keep possession but can onlt penetrate the attacking third by playing a positional direct pass to 9
Red 6 and 8 who start in a forward position outside defensive area, as marked red line, as shown, can only react in defense when the ball is about or being played to the 9
When play ends or ball goes out coach can varyu things by playinga long ball to blue 9 as to try and catch red 6 and 8 in transition
Blue to score at main goal, red team to score at one of the two small goals
Team Task: React quickly in defense from BP to BPO in defensive third
Player Task: Red 6 and 8 to be aware of their positioning in transistion from BP to BPO
Respond quickly in transistion
3 and 4 to try to anticipate pass to opposition 9
Coaches Cue: When blue try to play a pass to their 9, can red 6 and 8 must anticipate and react quickly, and cut out the pass
When ballis lost, can we be aware of our positioning and opposite number

MAIN MOMENT : BP > BPO - In our defensive third 6 and 8
FOOTBALL PROBLEM: In transistion from BP to BPO, in our defensive third. Our 6 and 8 need to respond quicker in stopping opposition 10 and 8 recieving the ball from their 9 after a positional direct pass from their defence
OBJECTIVE: In this session I aim to improve the defensive response of my 6 and 8 in BP to BPO transistion
