Screen 1 (15 mins)

Organization: Split players into groups of 2 , cones are set 5 yards and 20 yards from start point, extra balls nearby to minimize chasing bad/errant passes

Activity: 1 passes to 2 who turns (using a choice of turning moves Cryuff, chop, etc.) and then dribbles at speed to last cone. 2 turns again and sends a long pass to 1 and then sprints to receive at 2nd cone.

Rotate players every minute or so.

Variations:

Player 1 can serve the ball high or low, change speeds.

Require player 2 to do specific turns,

recieve the ball with specific parts of body,

return the pass with a weighted flighted ball

Coaching Points:

Balance when making and recieving passes,

speed an accuracy of passes,

keep ball under control at all times,

open hips while passing

foot contact for different passes
